We are currently searching for a User Interface Developer at our offices in Glenview.   This individual will partner with our Product, Marketing and Technology teams to define the user experience for our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) web and mobile payroll and HR services products. 

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating multidisciplinary design skills encompassing a balance of visual, technical, and strategic analysis.  As a vital member of the Product Management team, the UI Developer will work closely with product managers as well as members of the technology team to ensure seamless implementation of the user interface for our web applications.

Additional responsibilities for this position include:

  • Collaborating with a group of talented business analysts, developers, QA engineers, and executives to translate feature requirements into UI designs
  • Building high quality, compelling and usable customer facing web interfaces that are intuitive to users as well as visually appealing
  • Creating standards-compliant  HTML/XHTML browser-based user experiences
  • Creating and enhancing the UI controls used in our products
  • Building UI designs via working UI prototypes in ASP.NET MVC for new products, new features or  product changes
  • Developing UI standards and guidance and training engineers working on features
  • Helping design a UI/UX strategy to simultaneously support desktop browsers, tablets, and mobile devices

The successful candidate must have a proven track record for designing successful, consistent interactive web-based user experiences with a complex product suite that supports all of the popular browsers and metes out cross-browser issues.  This individual must possess broad knowledge of user interface development technologies and standards. Extensive UI development and integration experience with front end web technologies like .Net as well as experience with prototyping and visual design are required.

 

Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of UI developer experience. Technology experience with of HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery required, exposure to HTML5 and CSS3 a plus.   Microsoft technology experience with C#/ASP/.NET/Razor/MVC required.  Knowledge of Telerik controls a plus.  Experience with payroll and HR services are also a plus.
