DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) in Chicago invites applications for a full-time instructor position (non-tenure track) in Interactive Media beginning in September 2012.  A successful candidate would primarily work in the undergraduate program in Interactive and Social Media and the graduate program in Human-Computer Interaction. These programs are cross-disciplinary and share coursework with other programs in the college including animation, graphic design, game development, software engineering and information technology. Candidates for the position should have expertise in interaction design and be knowledgeable of common practices and technologies used in industry, particularly in the areas of web design, interactive media, social media and user interfaces.  Job responsibilities include teaching, advising, supervising student projects and continued creative activities and/or scholarship in the field.  An advanced degree is not required for candidates with extensive experience in interaction design or a related area.  Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
