Welcome to Nerd Interface! Our goal of this meetup is to connect passionate people like yourself with passionate Nerds to discuss the latest technology trends through presentations that include live demos/workshops, topic experts and networking.
Are you interested in chatbots and conversational UIs?
Do you write error messages, forms, and other interface elements?
Have you ever found yourself discussing the wording of a call to action?
Words are a huge part of every software design, but it's important to be intentional about those words and the way they affect your users. Are you using an efficient, informative voice, or do you sound more like a quirky, lovable goofball?
The appropriate voice builds trust, increases retention, humanizes interaction, and ultimately drives conversions and other business goals. Come join us in our next Nerd Interface where one of our Nerds will be deep diving into this with a hands on workshop!
5:30-6 p.m.: Food, networking, craft beer tasting and photo booth
6-7 p.m.: Nerd Interface
7-8 p.m.: Craft beer, networking, photo booth and gaming

About The Nerdery:
We are a custom software design and development company built on the belief that passionate nerds are the driving force behind business breakthroughs. Our vision is to be the best place in the world for Nerds to work; our purpose is to redefine what’s possible through technology.
About Extra Life:
Extra Life is a worldwide organization that raises money for the Children’s Miracle Network. We do this by asking for sponsorships and donations as we play games for 24-hours straight. Team Nerdery has been involved in Extra Life since 2012 and over these past three years, we’ve raised more than $30,000 for sick children. This year, each Nerdery office will be matched up with their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, ours being the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
