Event Description

We've long held that empathy is an important component of user experience. Without understanding a user we can't design the right solution for them. Empathy, however, has a sister faculty in mindfulness. After we know our users, we need to be focused and aware of the actions we ask them to take. The Mindfulness Framework is a simple, structured look at how we gather context, observe the world in front of us, and take action within it. This isn't a spiritual or philosophical presentation, but a practical technique for evaluating the quality and success of a user experience. Whether you're an independent UX professional who needs a way to step back from your solution, or a team looking for a method to define your rationale as a group, the Mindfulness Framework can be a useful part of your toolkit.

Please join our host Zak Orner of Manifest Digital.

Doors open at 6pm
Presentation start at 6:30

And join us for a happy hour right after the presentation.
