Event Description

About the Talk

We use our voices everyday, but understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the human voice are key to creating compelling and natural voice interactions. Learn how the Cortana team applied these and other insights to create a digital personal assistant that works to build a relationship with you. You will gain an understanding of how to approach the design of voice experiences, and some tools you can use to give it a try.

About the Presenter: Shane Landry

Shane Landry leads the design vision behind Cortana and Voice experiences at Microsoft. Shane’s focus is on experiences at the intersection of software and hardware to empower users across the wide array of life situations they face each day.

5:30 - 6:15pm – Registration, networking, and light refreshments

A Note on RSVP and Wait Listing

There will be a cap on this event. If you aren't able to RSVP, please "Send Message" to me (Sam Spicer, look at the top of this post to do so) requesting addition to the wait list.

I will not respond. However, should spaces become available, I will go in timestamp order of the messages I receive and inform you directly.

(And no, not a great experience, we're working on it... :) )

UPDATE: I will be reviewing and updating the waitlist Tuesday morning and will inform those who were able to be accommodated directly.
